FENDRED ~ How Did You Get Into 'Horror Hosting'?

The Sinister Minister ~ As far back as I can remember (and sometimes that's only about 15 minutes...) I''ve always loved horror films...I believe it was a combination of "The Omen" and "The Exorcist" that began warping me... anything dark, morbid and spooky caught my attention...but when I discovered the "classics" that really did it, especially the Universal classics, they really left a monster sized, (pardon the pun...) impression on me...I remember there had been a couple Horrorhost shows around that Id heard of, but growing up in "Sin City", there never was much in the way of "local culture"...I remember Elvira...(boy, do I!), I loved to stay up late and watch her show, (boy, did I!)...late night TV was always a passion for me, but I really never thought to be a horrorhost until about 3 years ago... that's when my inner demon, "The Sinister Minister" came to un-life! until then I'd been vehemently pursuing a music career for a solid 15 years or so...had a band, did a couple albums, played hundreds of shows, made no money, yaddah, yaddah.... (love that metal, y'know...) anyway, when the frustration of the music biz got to the boiling point...It just kinda popped into my head one day on a vacation in Lake Tahoe...I saw a horrorhost show one night based out of Reno...and thought that it would be alot of fun to put a show together...so I did...I debuted my first one on Halloween night of 2003 and the rest...well...you can see that....I am damned...

FENDRED ~ Which Horror Host(s) Inspired You?

The Sinister Minister ~ Again...pretty much mostly The Mistress of the Dark...Elvira!...I remember I had a big cardboard cut out of her in my room...got it from a local convenience store during a Halloween promotion...damn!... the good times we had....ummmm...nevermind, alot of my influence just comes from the horror movies themselves, I've always been attracted to anything dark n spooky, and Elvira warped me in many more ways than one!... actually, a dream of mine would be for her to do a guest appearance on my show sometime...so Im puttin' the invite out there...Elvira!...If you're ever in Vegas, come pay a visit to the Chap-Hell of Horror!...we'd love to have ya!...there...one can hope...

FENDRED ~ Who Are 'The Alter Girls', And What Do They Really Do On Your Show?

The Sinister Minister ~ Well...seeing Elvira was such an influence...it stands to reason the not everyone wants to stare at my ugly ass for the whole show...so you gotta have "eye candy"...so the Altargirls are my co-hostesses, and something nice to look at (plus they make me look all "pimpish!") their names are "Succubus" who is a constant on the show...then we alternate through a few other girls, we also have "Sedusa", "Widow" and "Phyxia"...all the girls have been in different shows, some here some there...Im just up to my ears in Altargirls!!!...not bad, eh?...see? pimpish!...Gothpimpsh!... also, there will be a myspace page soon just for the Altargirls...keep your eyes sliced open for that, kiddies!

FENDRED ~ On Your Show, Which Episode Would Be Considered Your Favorite?

The Sinister Minister ~ Wow...tough one!...so far I've only done a handful of shows...but if I had to pick one.................I'm thinking..............ah, Hell...they're all good!...but seeing I am such a Vincent Price fan...the House on Haunted Hill was one of my favs, it has probably my favorite "drop" in it...in the beginning, during the introduction of the guests, I threw in my own little introduction, if you havn't seen it...it's quite amusing. I'll be showing more Vincent Price movies in the future, as well as something that's never been done (as far as I know...) on a horrorhost show...I'd love to tell you, but it'd ruin the suprise! So I must stay silent on that one...

FENDRED ~ I Realize your Show Is Seen On The Internet, Will It Be Seen On Cable Access TV?

The Sinister Minister ~ Yes, and hopefully soon!...the local station here in Vegas that Im on...KVTE Vegas 35 is a UHF station right now but they're working on a network launch that'll take them to the Cable and Satelitte menus...so, yes, eventually my show willl be Cable access and Satellite...fortunately tyrotv.com, the internet station im on is doing wonders for the show!...the show was just put on tyro in early March and during that month we had over 17,000 hits, so Im really happy about that!...Im getting some really good responses and feedback on the show from many people and I want to thank everyone and anyone that watches it!...May the Monsters under your beds continue to let you live! actually, they can watch the show with ya! HA! I also want to thank Fendred's Chamber and Wierdo Cinema for taking an interest and helping me out...as you say...you guys Rock the Crypt! See all you sinners at the next "sadistic sermon!" until then, kiddies...(Insert evil laugh here...)
